The episode, which aired Monday night, centers on a cunning scheme orchestrated by the character KC, played by Tang Chi-kin. KC deploys a tactic best described as a “hidden promotion with harmful intent,” deliberately assigning three employees widely perceived as incompetent—Yip Hei-yin (Yau Ka-yan), Tam Yuen-lan (Yeung Cheuk-na), and Yuen Sze-wing (Lee Hoi-tung)—to join advertising specialist Chiang Hang-yu’s (Samantha Ko) team. “I sometimes silently practice expressions, or write notes in the script about how to make the character different,” she shared. Asked whether she fears damaging her wholesome image, Kwok laughed off the concern, explaining that Suet-man’s character has deeper layers.
“Suet-man’s values are a bit different from ours. I kept convincing myself to become her,” Kwok said. “There are certain reasons, certain family background factors, and things around her that gradually shaped who she is.”
